How does a beard transplantation work?
Donor hair is used for a beard transplantation. As with the FUE hair transplantation, your hair follicles are removed from the back of your head (donor area) with a thin hollow needle and moved to the desired bald areas.
Because your own hair follicles, also called grafts, are implanted, you get your natural hair growth back. With this treatment you do not have to worry that you will get scars. After the treatment, the transplanted hair will fall out. This is normal as the new will grow again after three months. After that the hair will grow and within 9 to 12 months the final result will be visible. For this delicate treatment we also work with local anaesthesia.
